Simple tool to get website indexed fast
December 24, 2009How to keep a usb drive as a D drive? (keep same mapping name)
August 22, 2010How to keep a usb drive as a D drive? (how to keep a USB device to have a same mapping name)
I have a 2G usb drive.
The problem one day it is my NB’s D drive
some day it will change to E drive
My question: How to keep it name D drive all the time?
Or how can I change it to D drive when it came to be named E drive?
Thank.
……………………………… next day ……………..try this……………………
I think the problem is a computer remember a USB device last time setting.
A computer may remember it is D drive.
B computer may remember it is E drive.
So computers will recall these settings.
That is why one day is D drive another day is E drive.
Too many computers can be a problem too.
Guess what .
Now I found a not very smart way but it works. I like to share it here.
I prepare at least 3 usb devices (no matter they are mp4 or camera or recorder or several disk drives)
I switch 3 or more other devices plug to my computer until d: e: f: all occupied.
Then safe remove d: drive device.
Finally use my real need D disk drive plug to computer then it will become name D drive again.
It takes less than a minute to fix it.
However I am still looking for a better solution.
If you know any please share here.
Thanks/Regards
How to get indexed on Google?
November 11, 2009How to get indexed on Google?
The first, what is being indexed on Google searching your site results?
Usually there are several ways to know if a site is indexed or not by google.
Ways to know if a site is indexed or not:
Way 1 to check if your site is on google : use google query site:your-site-domain. This is most people will do.
Way 2 to confirm is by using google query info:your-site-domain. This can also help you understand if the site is redirected to some other site. It it is not showing the same site then many people call it is a fake site and not a true indexed site by google.
Google update info: DC not very fast but Google may update every once a month.
Above are basic ways to check site index.
If you site is not indexed on google it means people may have difficult to visit your site directly through google search results as a low traffic site.
Now let us talk ” How to get index on Google. “
Way 1 : submit to google’s add url
example:
www.google.com/addurl/
www.google.ca/addurl/
www.google.co.jp/addurl/
many other google countries and so on
I am telling you there are many places can tell google robots to crawl your site.
Way 2 : Use your bloggers to publish your site links.
example:
If you have one yahoo.com account then you can have many yahoo blogs.
How ? It is because your one yahoo account can apply
By one yahoo bolg from USA 360.yahoo.com
another yahoo blog from UK uk.360.yahoo.com
another yahoo blog from Canada ca.yahoo.com
and one is whatever your native language if your are not above places
and so on ( in.yahoo.com | cn.yahoo.com | yahoo.co.jp | tw.yahoo.com …. )
Tip:
Now I am telling you. Do not need to apply many yahoo accounts you can own many blogs one time with only one yahoo account.
Way 3 : Use forum sites.
You may use some forums which provide post links , home page introduction or signatures.
Example:
forum name / and / maximum number of signatures for a member
| forum Name | maximum signatures |
require posts |
Latest Blog feed Other Profile URL |
| v7n.com/forums/ | 2 signatures | 50 | yes wordpress / twitter / facebook |
| talk.iwebtool.com
sorry the forum is |
1 signatures 2 signatures 3 signatures 4 signatures |
50 100 250 500 |
no |
| forums.digitalpoint.com | 2 signatures ( was 4 sign 2009/10) |
- | yes wordpress |
| forums.seochat.com | 4 signatures | - | no |
| warriorforum.com | 4 signatures ( 5 lines ) |
no need | yes |
| zoomcities.com/forum/ | 4 signatures | - | no |
| helpingwebmasters.com | No limit on links (max 3 lines) |
15 | - |
| - | - | - | - |
| - | - | - | - |
| - | - | - | - |
Way 4 : Use bookmarks.
Way 5 : Submit your site to directories
Way 6: Ads Link
Way 7: Fix broken links.
Way 8: Fix robot.txt and header meta
Way 9: other ways to expose your site
Way 10: Create a valuable site.
If readers love your site then they will help you to expose your site.
Way 11: Use big famous site services to auto crawl your new site.
The way is one of most simple and fast ways to help your new domain home page to get index on all major search engines.
Example: ( replace your-new-domain-name to your real domain name )
just link to them

Introduce Google Chrome
I like to keep today Google Chrome info. Because I think it will get more updating. So I can compare with the first old version in the future.

It was first released as a beta version for Microsoft Windows on 2 September 2008, and the public stable release was on 11 December 2008. For times when you want to browse in stealth mode, for example, to plan surprises like gifts or birthdays, Google Chrome offers the incognito browsing mode.
Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito aren’t recorded in your browsing and download histories.
All new cookies are deleted after you close the incognito window.
Changes made to your Google Chrome bookmarks and general settings while in incognito mode are always saved.
Watch a video segment about incognito mode
This video segment is part of a longer video on how Google respects your privacy in Google Chrome. If you’re short on time, just watch the segment that runs from 2:38 to 3:20.
Turn on incognito mode
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+N
To turn on the incognito mode, follow these steps:
Click the wrench menu .
Select New incognito window.
A new window will open with the incognito icon in the top left corner. You can continue browsing as normal in the other window. You can also right-click any link and select Open link in incognito window.
Browsing in incognito mode only keeps Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you’ve visited. The websites you visit may still have records of your visit. Any files saved to your computer will still remain on your computer.
For example, if you sign into your Google Account on http://www.google.com while in incognito mode, your subsequent web searches are recorded in your Google Web History. In this case, to prevent your searches from being stored in your Google Account, you’ll need to pause your Google Web History tracking.
Google Chrome features: New Tab page
See useful links when you open a new tab
Watch a short video about the New Tab page
When you open a new tab, Google Chrome preloads it with links to websites you visit the most, recently saved websites, recently closed tabs, and recently used search engines.

In Google Chrome, the address bar that sits at the top of the browser window (sometimes called the Omnibox) doubles as a search box. You can also use it to bookmark websites and see security information about your current webpage.
Here are all the ways you can use the address bar:
Search the Web
Simply type your search term in the address bar and press Enter to see results from your default search engine. You can use common search booleans such as AND and OR. Learn how to do searches with your default search engine or with other site search engines.
Watch a short video on using the address bar as a search box
Go to web addresses
In addition to search terms, you can type in the web address of the website you’re trying to reach, then press Enter. (If you accidentally typed in the wrong address, simply click the x icon at the end of the bar to stop the Google Chrome from loading the page.)
See suggestions of related search terms and websites
Whenever you type in the address bar, Google Chrome automatically searches your browsing history and shows you websites in your history that match what you’ve entered. The address bar can also automatically show you suggestions of related search terms and websites.
Create a bookmark
If you come across an interesting webpage that you’d like to revisit at a later point, click the star icon to create a bookmark. Learn more about adding bookmarks
See the security status for the page you’re on
If Google Chrome detects that the site you’re on will securely transmit data using SSL, you’ll see the following signals:
The background color of the address bar changes to yellow.
The https portion of the URL appears in green.
A lock icon appears at the end of the address bar.
If a SSL-secured connection can’t be established, an alert icon appears at the end of the address bar. Click the icon to see more details.

Backorder domain
Quick way to know if your domain rediret works or not.
May 24, 2009Usually webmasters use 301 and 302 to redirect a site from an old domain to a new domain.
If you use 302 make you set the second=0 then 302 shall be same as 302 for 301 redirect.
After couple days google search engine updates data centers. You can check google [ info: ] and [ cache: ] to see whether your domain has been really redirected or not.
Here I like to add some how redirection scripts work information:
How the header 301 quick redirect work
PHP script
<?
header(“HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently”);
header(“Location: http : // next-site /”);
?>
ASP script
<%
Response.Status=”301 Moved Permanently”
Response.AddHeader “Location”,”http : // next-site /”
%>
However some webmasters are using it for gaining fake PR ( Google PageRank )
By knowing how some black hat SEO webmasters use header 301 redirect you can avoid to buy fake PR domain name.
Example 301 scripts:
PHP script
<?
if (strstr($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], “Googlebot”)) {
header(“HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently”);
header(“Location: http://G/”);
exit;
}
else {
};
?>
ASP script
<%
if instr(Request.ServerVariables(“HTTP_USER_AGENT”),”googlebot”)>0 then
Response.Status=”301 Moved Permanently”
Response.AddHeader “Location”,”http:// G /”
else
end if
%>
302 – redirection – example
redirection refresh count by second
content=seconds
html meta
Description:
<meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”0; url=http://——.com”>
Example Code:
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”10; url=http://——.com”>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

</head>

302 redirect tips
When “refresh” content=0 second may have similar to 301 redirect for bots.
You may use <meta http-equiv=”refresh” content=”0;url=http : // a new URL” />
